Dopo essersi soffermato sui caratteri della c.d. nuvola informatica (cloud computing), lo scritto esamina la disciplina posta dal Regolamento UE 2016/679, ponendone in luce il legame con il “cloud” del quale eleva i livelli di sicurezza. In particolare, il lavoro sottolinea l’importanza della nascita del Cloud Infrastructure Services Providers in Europe (CISPE) e del Comitato per la Protezione dei Dati (EDPB).
After dwelling on the characters of the cloud computing the paper examines the discipline laid down by EU Regulation 2016/679, highlighting the link with the “cloud”, of which the Regulation raises the security levels. In particular, the work underlines the importance of the birth of the Cloud Infrastructure Services Providers in Europe (CISPE) and of the European Data Protecting Board (EDPB).
